Balearic islands are much more than just that. There are three more, often forgotten, smaller islands of Formentera, Cabrera and Dragonera.
Each of the islands is distinct, and every tourist guide will tell you that Ibiza is the party capital of the Mediterranean, Mallorca is the place to go for endless beaches along with lush, tall mountains and Menorca is the quitest of the bunch.
What it usually doesn't tell you, is that you can easily find your quiet coves and beaches even on Ibiza. It also fails to mention that Mallorca's coast offers some thrilling sailing, and that there is plenty of forgotten places to explore in Menorca - if you have a boat, that is. The three smaller islands (with the exception of Dragonera, which is a national park) make the adventure menu even broader - and they are seldom visited compared to the touristic hotspots.
Head there outside of high season, and you will have it all for yourself.
